Maryland Heights Missouri Events
Founded in 1992 by former Maryland Heights High School basketball coach Don Popovic, the complex has been home to some of the state's best basketball players and coaches. We recently revisited the story of former Baltimore Heights head coach and basketball coach Don Popovic and his team.
It has a gazebo that can accommodate about 25 people, and a picnic area with barbecue. It contains two other pavilions, one with seating for about 20 people and the other with about 30 people.
The St. Louis Blues' training facility, which has just broken ground and is scheduled to open next fall, is also under construction. If the Blues don't use it, a new community ice centre will open in autumn 2019.
Runners and walkers can participate in any event as long as participants can keep to their time (see schedule above). You can change to another distance of the same race 3 days before the race or you can postpone registration and transfer for a more expensive race. You must pay the difference in the entry fee, but you can also switch between different distances in a 3-day event.
You can hand over your race number to another participant between 6 and 3 days before the event or manage it up to 10 days after the event. If your package does not arrive on the day of the event, you must return to pick up your package and head to the venue where you will arrive - your b-bib and equipment will be assigned. The request for postponement must be sent by email and must contain a list of the distance you wish to postpone and a description of your race.
If you need help during or after the event, please inform a volunteer about the course monitoring. It is the responsibility of participants to ensure that they are not impaired in their ability to hear, see or recognize any existing or potential hazards or dangers.

For those who are brave in the heart of the Creve Coeur Park, a group of groups can try to explore the treetops of the forest on a zip line. Maryland Heights also operates an aquaport on the corner of Westport Plaza and Creves Ave., just blocks from the park.
