Harrah's is my favorite casino for a number of reasons. It is newer, i.e. nicer than some of the others. I have also won the most money there (always helps). There is also a little cafe within the casino itself with extremely affordable food ($2 pretzel, $2 fries, cheap pizza, sandwiches, nachos etc.) which helps to not break the bank on food and without having to leave the casino. There are also good restaurants on site if you'd prefer. There are also many machines so there are typically always some open. The staff is also very nice and helpful. There is also a free coatcheck and free parking both outside and in a garage. Great rewards with their rewards program as well.
Pros: newer, nice staff, cheap food inside casino, won the most money here!
Cons: can get smoky

After booking the room for a total of $79, I was shocked to find on my bank statement that they charged me $140!!!!! WTF? The rooms werent that clean to begin with and the staff looked like they were held hostage. I only have one recomendation here, that whoever manages this dump of a hotel should look into a local fast food joint for future employment, they might be more suited for that, just maybe. I honestly think that as long as people keep dumping money in their machines, they couldnt care less how the stay was! I will be updating this review with the reasoning for the grossly exaggerated overchange. If they were honest with me up front about the room charges, I would be yelling BEWARE OF DUMP!!!
Pros: Extremely reasonable rate
Cons: Extremely reasonable rate increases AFTER you stay!

We stayed at Harrah's while in town for a Cardinal game. The rooms were nice, the casino clean and well arranged. The employees - save one- were very friendly, particularly charming was a woman at the Total Rewards window. A woman in the coffeeshop was border-line rude - didn't particularly speak English well and acted like it was a big favor to wait on me. As mentioned before, the parking isn't great. You'd better pack a lunch on a Saturday night to get you from your car to the front door. But all in all, a fun place to stay.
